How It Works
1. Install Speed Launcher
Download and install Speed Launcher on your Windows machine. The installer will set up all necessary dependencies.
2. Configure Tally Instances
Add Tally instances to Speed Launcher by specifying:
- Instance Name: Friendly name (e.g., "Client A - FY 2024-25")
- Tally Path: Path to Tally.ERP 9 executable
- Port Number: Custom port (9000-9999)
- Company Path: Local or network path to company data
- VPS Connection: (Optional) VPS IP, database name, credentials
3. Launch Tally
Click on any configured instance to launch Tally with the specified settings. Speed Launcher handles all command-line parameters automatically.
4. Manage Multiple Instances
Run multiple Tally instances side-by-side, each on its own port. Switch between them using Alt+Tab or Speed Launcher's dashboard.
